Here’s a brief description of these printing process
• Offset Printing – is the traditional ink on paper. We can print one color as well as multi color jobs. This is the most common method of printing and delivers the highest quality reproduction.
• Digital Printing – is toner based laser or ink jet printing process
mostly used for very small quantity jobs.
• Thermography – is traditional offset printing that is lightly dusted with a resinous powder while the ink is wet designed to swell when heated. Thermography is the generic effect of achieving a printed embossed look or engraving.
• Foil Stamping – is a heat defused roll of foil like material pressed onto a variety of papers resulting in a high gloss or dull metallic finish offered in an assortment of colors.
Note: Foil stamping requires a die which carries an additional expense but could be used repeatedly. It is usually a one time charge. Price depends on its size.
• Embossing – is the process of carrying an image to paper or cardstock by pressing a metal die to it. Embossing can be blind, which is only the Braille effect, it can be applied to a printed image or combined with foil stamping.
